Shrewsbury Flea - Antique and Collectors Fair Information
ARRIVAL INFORMATION
• Exhibitors to arrive at exhibitor gate (see signage as gate may differ from the previous time).
• Please have your E Pass saved to your smart phone or printed out ready to show to the marshal. Please note that E Passes are only issued if you booked and paid via the website. If you booked via the booking form or with us direct, you will receive a paper copy on arrival.
• The marshal will scan your E Pass and will also ask you your name and email address for security, please have this information ready. E Passes will be delivered to your inbox on check out. Please check your junk and spam mail. The email address to search is emma@jos-events.co.uk. Please save to your smart phone or print out. All bookings are recorded so if you don’t receive the E Pass, we will simply ask you your name and email address and will issue a paper copy. E Passes Look like the following example:
Friday:
• 2pm - 6pm - All traders admitted for set up.
• 6pm – Showground secured. Please be aware that all items left overnight are left at your own risk and are your responsibility.
Saturday:
• 6.00am – All traders admitted.
• 7.45am – Exhibitor gate locked.
• 8.30am - Buyers admitted
• 3:00pm - Fair closes.
• 5.00pm – Showground secured.
Pitch size:
• Outdoor Pitch – Approx. 32ft / 32ft (10m / 10m) – this is a guide. However, we ask that you follow the instructions given by the marshal when parking. We would however kindly request that you respect the exhibitor next to you. EHU’s (Electric hook up’s) are available to book. All vehicles are £45 per pitch. It is strictly one vehicle per pitch.
• Indoor Pitch - 6ft table included. Please book the pitch you required. Sizes are as follows:
- Single pitch – 6ft / 8ft – X 1 6ft table included
- Double pitch – 14ft / 8ft X 2 6ft tables included
- Triple pitch – 20ft / 8ft X 3 6ft tables included
Electrical and Display Equipment Electricity is limited within the buildings. Extension leads are NOT provided by the organiser. Exhibitors are only permitted to use lights requiring no more than 300 watts per stand. We will make every effort to get you near an electric point. Please request this when booking for Shrewsbury Flea but please be aware that this may not always be possible at this venue.
Caravan Hook Ups:
At Shrewsbury Flea most of these hook-ups are located on the opposite side of the showground, however, there are four electric hook ups available within the immediate fair area and a further eight nearby. To reserve one of these hook ups you will be required to Prepay, per day. Priority will be given to those requiring hook ups for medical reasons.
Although we will endeavour to get you near the pitch of your choice this may not always be possible. Pitches will be allocated on arrival. This makes it easier for parking of caravans and motorhomes.
In order to be able to accommodate all of those who wish to book electric pitches we may need to mark out a guide to be followed which will be approx. 10m / 10m.
Please note that generators are not permitted.
Extra Tables:
Extra tables need to be pre-booked under the fair and they are priced at £7 each. You can do this by adding them to your order. Traders who wish to bring their own tables are welcome too, but they MUST be placed within the allocated space, either in front or to the side (L shape).
General Information:
• Please help us to ensure easy unloading for you all by parking sensibly around the buildings. Staff may ask you to move your vehicle if it is causing an obstruction.
• All Indoor traders must move their vehicle and park in the allocated parking area by 7:30am.
• Please do not place nails or screws in any walls or partitions belonging to the venue.
• Space is limited indoors so we ask that you adhere to the space allocated to you & respect your neighbour. Do not block gangways or fire exits.
• Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
• You are required to do your own risk assessment when setting up and all items left overnight are left at your own risk. We strongly advise market trader & public liability insurance.
• All stands must remain fully stocked until close of fair.
• Outdoor pitch size is approx. 10m / 10m (32ft / 32ft), this is a guide. Electric pitches may be marked. We ask all traders who have reserved an electric pitch to go to the next pitch available in the area requested. This is to allow for everyone to have equal room and to be able to park their caravans with ease.
• Showers and toilets are available on site. Showers will be open.
• The nearest cash machine is Shrewsbury is a short walk at the premier shop.
