Indoor traders must pre-book to attend the Oswestry Antique and Collectors Fair, and any additional tables must be ordered in advance. Bookings can be made online via our Trader Booking section.

​Trader booking​​​

Outdoor traders may either pre-book or turn up on the day and pay at the gate. Please note that, due to limited signal at Oswestry Showground, gate payments are cash only.

Trader Arrival Times
Friday:

• 10:00 – 18:00 - Outdoor traders admitted for set-up.
• 12:00–18:00 – All traders admitted for set-up.
• 18:00 – Showground secured. Security will be patrolling. Please note that any items left overnight are done so at your own risk and remain your responsibility.

Saturday
PLEASE NOTE: One-day passes are not available on Saturdays.

• If an outdoor pitch is booked, Sunday is FREE of CHARGE.
• Saturday trading is £60 cash, payable on the gate.
• One-day traders may turn up for Sunday only.
• 06:00 – All traders admitted.
  • Indoor traders: Gate One
  • Outdoor traders: Gate Two
• 07:00 – Trade buyers admitted.
• 07:30 – Gate One locked.
  All traders must be on site by this time. Late arrivals will need to enter via Gate Two and will be directed to the car park.
• 08:00 – All buyers admitted.
• 17:00 – Showground secured. Security patrolling.
  Items left overnight are at your own risk and remain your responsibility.

Sunday:

• 07:00 – Building opened; one-day traders admitted.
• 07:45 – Exhibitor gates locked.
• 08:00 – Buyers admitted.
• 17:30 – Showground closed and secured.

Please note that traders are not permitted to stay overnight on Sunday. This policy has been introduced due to previous misuse of this privilege, including rubbish being left on the showground.

Outdoor Pitch – Approx. 32ft x 32ft (10m x 10m) (sizes are a guide only). Traders must follow the marshal’s instructions when parking and are kindly asked to respect neighbouring exhibitors.

Exhibitors using a van and trailer or two large vehicles will be charged for two pitches (excluding caravans). We simply ask that all exhibitors are fair and considerate.

The Saturday pitch fee is £60, which covers the entire weekend, regardless of whether the trader attends for one day or both days.

Sunday-only pitches are available at £45 per pitch.

Yes. We will always endeavour to go ahead in wet weather. However, we strongly advise traders and visitors to check our social media pages in the event of extreme weather conditions.

As organisers, we would only cancel the fair if weather conditions make it impossible or unsafe to proceed, for example due to poor ground conditions or similar safety concerns. In such circumstances, we will provide as much notice as possible.

If in doubt, please check our regularly updated social media pages. No news on our social media pages means the fair is going ahead as planned.

Electricity is provided for all indoor pitches.

Please note:

• Traders must bring their own extension leads.
• All electrical equipment must be safe and suitable for use.
• Plugs and extension leads must not be overloaded due to fire safety regulations.
• The organiser reserves the right to unplug any equipment that is causing, or is likely to cause, overloading or safety concerns.
• Please be considerate, sockets may need to be shared with neighbouring traders.

🔌 Electricity – Outdoor Traders
Electric hook-ups (EHUs) are available for outdoor traders and can be pre-booked in advance.
Please note:

• Traders must bring their own minimum 20m, 16-amp lead in order to connect to the EHUs.
• A limited number of EHUs may be available on the gate; however, we strongly advise pre-booking as supply is limited.
• All electrical equipment must be safe and suitable for use.
• The organiser reserves the right to disconnect any equipment deemed unsafe or causing issues.

Pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

Indoor traders who wish to camp will need to pre-book their EHU.

🚻 Toilets & Showers

Toilets and showers are available for traders to use on site.
Please note:

• Showers at Oswestry Showground are not always available during our winter fairs.
• A toilet block will be available at all times for traders, located opposite the halls.

We recommend bringing any personal toiletries you may need, particularly during winter events.

We specialise in antiques, vintage, retro and collectables. Items must be in keeping with the fair.

Unfortunately, in the past we have had people claim they were helping traders set up on Friday in order to avoid the admission fee or jump the queue. As a result of this policy being repeatedly abused, we are no longer able to allow this.

We appreciate your understanding, as these measures are necessary to keep the event fair for everyone.

Yes, traders must have valid Public Liability Insurance.

Not required, but many customers expect card facilities. ​

While numbers vary, we actively market to collectors and antique enthusiasts across the region.

• 8.30am - Buyers admitted
• 3:00pm - Fair closes.
• 5.00pm – Showground secured.

Anyone wishing to stay overnight on the Saturday night will need to contact and pay the Showground direct. This can be booked via pitch-up
